Portfolio Review and Professional Feedback

by Maurice Pehle

Are you interested in a professional opinion on your work?

The German term "Werkschau" means "showcase", "exhibition of works," or "retrospective". It is often used to describe a presentation or exhibition showcasing an artist's, designer's, or company's body of work, typically highlighting their achievements, styles, or creative journey. We believe it is the perfect term to describe a platform for professional feedback on individual works or entire portfolios. Whether it’s small inquiries seeking opinions on a topic or a detailed portfolio review, we aim to provide an honest platform that adds real value to these requests. The concept was founded and initiated by Maurice Pehle; Photographer, Creative Director, and Curator of the online magazines @loadfilm and @leicamag, where he demonstrates his expertise through his high-quality selections. Now, you can receive his feedback on your work. Seeing great potential in personalized consulting, we aim to include additional professionals in our roster in the future. + The "Werkschau" logo consists of a composition of four oval shapes arranged together to form a "+" (plus sign) sign in the negative space. A "+" next to an idea signifies added value or potential for development. For skills, it indicates progress, growth, or the acquisition of new abilities. It highlights positive advancement. The ovals represent the idea of "a conversation under four eyes"—a private, one-on-one discussion—or "four heads coming together", symbolizing collaboration, brainstorming, or close dialogue. They highlight the personal, interactive nature of consultations and the importance of working closely to exchange ideas and solve problems. Designed by Maurice Pehle
