The KODAK GOLD 200, part of Kodak's Amateur Color Negative Film program, is characterized by slightly increased color saturation and higher contrast compared to the professional-grade Kodak Portra 160.

As the name suggests, the Gold 200 features a pronounced warm color reproduction. It has a coarser grain compared to Portra 160, and its exposure latitude is narrower in direct comparison. However, the Gold 200 offers a significantly lower price point as a trade-off.

It is generally well-suited for photography under normal lighting conditions.
